NATIONAL CANDIDATES

Sir.—The three National Party candidates offering for selection by a poll of party members have distributed persona! circulars for consideration. There seems to be an omission in Mr. Barker's which needs explanation. At the annual meeting of the party it was stated by the chairman he would not again be a candidate and that has been generally accented as correct. What has caused the changed decision? Many members would like to know. ANTI-HUMBUG.
