SOVIET BID TO BEAT COUNTER-BLOCKADE

BERLIN, Feb. 10. The Russians have turned to the sea in a bid to beat the Allied counterblockade of Eastern Germany, says the Associated Press correspondent. The Russian-controlled press claimed today that six ships bringing 5000 tons of cargo' for the Russian zone of Germany from western countries had arrived at the Baltic Sea ports of Rostock and Warnemunde in one day. It said taht this traffic would be stepped up. The sen cargoes came from Holland, Belgium, Norway and Sweden.
