MR. R. N. M. NEAME

OBITUARY

The death occurred yesterday in the Cook Hospital of Mr. Renwick Newton Mark Neame, well-known formerly in the carriage-building trade and for the past three years retired from business owing to ill-health. Mr. Neame was born in Blenheim 66 years ago, and was apprenticed there to the wheelwright’s trade, coming to Gisborne 40 years ago and remaining in constant employment and in first-class standing in his trade until the time of his retirement. He was twice married; and is survived by his second wife and two daughters. The burial at the Taruheru cemetery will follow a service in Cochrane’s chapel at 3.15 p.m. today.
