Speed-Boat Going to Sydney
The speed-boat Redhead was shinned to Australia aboard the freighter Ozarda. She will contest the tnmiui Cup—Australian unlimited speed-boaf championship—at Port Jackson, Sydney. about February 26. Her owner, Len Southward, will fly to Australia on February 22. Redhead won the Moult Trophy in Auckland on November 27, averaging a speed of 49 miles an hour over 10 miles on a rough day. Redhead may also try to take the Australian unlimited waterspeed record from Australia’s Sunray 11, whose fastest recorded speed is 82.663 miles an hour. Redhead attained a speed of 85.714 miles an hour on Lake Rotorua at Christmas.
