Hotel Workers’ Union Dispute Ended

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 10. An agreement on award conditions has been reached by the representatives of the New Zealand Hotel Workers’ Union and the employers and the dispute in the licensed trade has ended. The Wellington branch of the union announced after a stop-work meeting yesterday morning of bar-room workers that the terms were satisfactory, but they would not be made public at present and the Questions agreed upon would be referred shortly to the Court of Arbitration for ratification. The union said it was arranging an ordinary meeting so that the terms could be submitted to all other hotel workers than bar staffs.
