BLIND ORGANIST'S SUCCESS

Mr. J. H. E. Papesch, formerly blind director of music for the New Zealand Institute for the Blind, Auckland, has qualified as an Associate of the Royal College of Organists, London. A cable message received from England said that Mr. Papesch will continue his studies to qualify as a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists, as was his intention when he left New Zealand last September.

LORD ROW ALLAN, Chief Scout of the British Empire, arrived in New Plymouth yesterday from Nelson and was given a civic reception.
