DEATH OF VETERAN LABOUR LEADER

(11 a.m.) LONDON. Jan. 21. The death has occurred of the veteran Labour leader, Mr. J. H. Thomas, aged 75. The Thomas was Secretary of State for the Dominions from 1930 to 1935.

He resigned his seat in Parliament in 193 H following the report of the Tribunal on Budget leakage.
