Head Winds Prevent Another Tasman Record
(11 a.m.) SYDNEY. Dec. 22. The British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines’ D.C. 6 airliner, which established a record for the Sydney-Auek-land crossing, made the return journey from Auckland to Sydney in five hours 36 minutes.
Strong head winds were encountered
