The answer to this question has been supplied in the current issue of Straight Furrow, as follows: — “In brief, the occupier of land has no right or remedy against an adjoining occupier whose trees shade the land of the first-mentioned occupier, unless he has acquired a right of access of light by deed or by transfer executed by the owner of the adjoining property, such grant must be duly registered within 12 months from the date of execution by the grantor. The grant must also limit and define accurately the area or parcel of land on to. or' over which the uninterrupted access of light is intended to be provided for.”
