SUSPECT POLIO CASE PROVES NEGATIVE

The Health Department reports that the eight-year-old child who was admitteef to the Cook Hospital earlier this week as a suspected poliomyelitis case case has proved to be negative. A positive case was reported in the East Cape health district this morning. The patient, a young man aged 23, from Murupara, was admitted to the Rotoru Hospial yesterday.
