ECONOMIC AID TO AUSTRIA INCREASED
(11.30 a.m.) . VIENNA, Dec. 14.
A new direct European recovery prograrne allotment of 14,500,000 has been authorised for Austria. This makes Austria’s total European recovery programme allotment about £62,500,000. The new grant is designed to allow an uninterrupted How of goods to Austria until the American Congress appropriates funds for additional allotments to bring deliveries up to the programme total by June 30. 1949.
