YOSHIDA SAYS MONEY WAS FOR PARTY FUNDS
TOKYO, Dec. 12
The former Prime Minister, Yoshida, was summoned before the Diet Investigation Committee today following charges that he accepted a 1,000,000 yen bribe in connection with the Commerce and Industry Ministry’s textile scandal. Yoshida said he acknowledged the receipt of money which was used as party funds. Yoshida will be summoned before the committee again.
