He was Solomon William Andrews. He was further charged with stealing on ''lav '5 an overcoat and other articles valued at about £B.

"You are only 23 and this is yom ninth or tenth offence.” said the magistrate, Mr. J. H. Luxford. "You are an incorrigible rogue and a sneak thief." Andrews was sentenced on each of the two charges to six months' imprisonment.
