WANGANELLA CLAIM SETTLED FOR £350

(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Oct. 5. An agreement made out of Court last Friday between the Eastbourne Borough Council and the master and crew of the Cobar and the underwriters and owners of the Wanganella in connection with the salvage of the vessel was minuted by the Chief Justice, Sir Humphrey O’Leary, in the Supreme Court sitting in its Admiralty Jurisdiction. The sum of £350 is to be paia into Court in settlement of this claim. This sum is be apportioned between the Eastbourne Borough Council ana the master and crew of the Cobar. The original claim was for £2OOO.
