Palmerston North Leads In Womens’ Indoor Basketball Tourney

The teams were evenly matched in the first half, but better combination and clever interception in the closing stages gave Palmerston North a fairly easy win by 29 goals to 15. This leaves the tournament at ar. interesting stage for although Palmerston North is at present the only unbeaten team it has yet to meet the strong Wellington side which was narrowly defeated by Hamilton.
