CYPRIOTS DEMAND REUNION WITH GREECE

(10.40 a.m.) NICOSIA, Oct. 3. The biggest political meeting ever held in Cyprus, at which 20,000 people from all parts of Cyprus attended, demanded the reunion of Cyprus with Greece.

The meeting, which was called by Archbishop Makarios and the Cyprus Holy Synod, passed 5 resolution addressed to the British, Greek and American Governments, stating its demands.

The Leftists boycotted the meeting and organised other gatherings to demand self-government for Cyprus.
