Talk Of Mr. Atlee Retiring Discounted

No confirmation of the rumours that the Prime Minister, Mr. C. R. Attlee, is on the verge of retirement because of ill health could be obtained from official sources at Downing Street today. The spokesman said that so far from there being a possibility that illness might cause Mr. Attlee to relinquish the Prime Ministership, his health was showing a steady improvement since his recent hospital treatment.
