GENERAL CLAY DENIES U.S. ESPIONAGE IN , CZECHOSLOVAKIA
LONDON, Sept. 30.
General Lucius Clay, American Commander in Germany, has denied recent Czech Government charges that the United States military counter-intelli-gence corps had been operating in Czechoslovakia.
The corps was not operating in Czechoslovakia, “even by proxy,” he said.
