NETHERLANDS INDIES & CURACAO RENAMED

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 2. The Netherlands Legation advises that “advice has been received from The Hague that owing to the revision of the constitution of the Kingdom of the Netherlands being solemnly proclaimed in September 20, 1948, the Netherlands Indies will henceforth be known by the name of Indonesia and Curacao by the name of the Netherlands Antilles.

"This change of- name in no way alters the judicial status of the said territories and will, therefore, no no way affect any engagements made by or for these territories.
