BLOODHOUNDS TO ASSIST POLICE?

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 1. In view of the number of unsolved crimes of violence in this country, would the Minister of Justice, Mr. H. G. R. Mason, consider the advisability of purchasing suitable bloodhounds or other dogs to assist the police and thus bring about a quicker apprehension of criminals? Notice of this question was given in the House of Representatives yesterday by Mr. W. H. Fortune (Oppos., Eden).
