NAZI CAMP TORTURER TO DIE
(10 a.m.) BERLIN. Sept. 30. The official Soviet newspaper Taegliche Rundschau stated that Heinz Adrian, the former head warder at Hammerstein and Sonnenbur concentration camps, had been sentenced to death by a German criminal court at Schwerin, in the Soviet zone. The newspaper said that many of Adrian's victims were stamped with a red hot iron.
