French Reds Claim People Will Not Fight Russia

(10.30 a.m.) PARIS, Sept. 30. The French Communist Party declared that the people of France would never go to war against the Soviet Union. “French Communists will do everything in their power to prevent the instigators of another war from putting their criminal plans into effect,’’ it says. "The people of France hold in their hands the possibility of barring the road to war instigators. The French people denounce the military bloc against the Soviet Union and thank the Soviet delegation to the United Nations for the proposal to cut armaments. “We denounce the anti-Soviet attacks by Mr. Bevin, Mr. Marshall and M. Spaak to which the French Government is also linked by M. Schuman, who in no way represents France. “The people of France will not accept an alliance with Western Germany to make war against Socialist countries, added the statement-
