Napier Light Industries

The possibility of the Napier Borough Council and the Napier Harbour Board entering into an agreement about the development of a block of land on the north-western side of Taradale road as a site for the establishment of light industries was discussed at a meeting of the Harbour Board recently. The chan-man, Mr. E. J. Herrick, and Messrs F. R. Logan, G. I. Bickerstaff and G. H. Murray were appointed a committee to confer with the Napier Borough Council on the matter. The area being considered as a site for light industries is that between the Riverbend road junction and the Disabled Servicemen’s Reestablishment League block.
