A Profitable Business
The collecting of empty beer bottles in thirsty Wellington is a profitable business, according to an applicant who came before the No. 2 Transport Licensing Authority. During July of last ■, year he collected 2280 dozen bottles, but In the hot days of January the total rose to 5194 dozen. It was a good business as his net return was sevcnpeuce a dozen. —P.A.
