(PA.) AUCKLAND. Oct. 1. With the freighter Fernmoor in tow the P. and O. Line motor-ship Palana wjis making six knots in fine weather and smooth seas yesterday, according to the daily wireless message to the New Zealand Herald from the master, Captain 11. Spurr. The run in the 24 hours to noon yesterday was 134 miles. At 8 o’clock last night the ships were about 1500 miles from Auckland and about 1200 miles due east from the Kcrmadec Islands. The weather was overcast but fine with light south-south-west wind.
