DIRTY MILK BOTTLES : COMPAINTS MADE

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 31. Complaints about dirty milk bottles in Palmerston North and Christchurch were mentioned by the Minister of Health, Miss M. Howard, at a conference today of flew Zealand local milk authorities “Things are not going well in some districts,” said the Minister. “We are having complaints about dirt and I hope this conference will be able to help clear them up. ‘Milk is one of the recognised basic foods. We have had complaints from Palmerston North about filthy bottles and on Saturday I got examples of this in Christchurch. I hope that when things are finalised in Christchurch Something will be done about this.”
