OLD FOLKS’ SOCIAL
The social afternoon last Thursday at the rooms of the Old Folks' Association was arranged b.v male members and they presented a varied programme which was thoroughly eniqyed bv present. Beautiful spring flowers In the room gave a pleasing erfect. The programme was as follows: Story without words. Mr. Butler’s party; account of the days of Te Kooti, Mrs. Jones; tap dance. Glenys Algie; humorous stories. Messrs. Williams and Hambly; recitations, Messrs. Peryer, fCalcott and Lesley Jones; vocal solos, Mesdarnes Betteri’dge. Woods. Messrs. Carter, Butler and Kevin Elliott.
