In the junior knock-out competition H. 5.0.8., winners of the intermediate championship, made a good showing in the first spell against the junior champions, the score at half-time being six-al], but two tries added by Old Boys secured the decision by 12 points to six The forwards wore well matched. In back play Old Boys bud an advantage. Tries for Old Boys were scored by the centre. Robb (two), the wing. File and the half-back. Duncan.
