Danes Seek Higher Price For Butter From Britain
(10 a.m.) COPENHAGEN, Aug. 27. It is learned that the Danish trade authorities will press for a rise of 18s 6d per cent in the price of butter when they negotiate the new Anglo-Danish trade pact to replace the one which expires on September 30. Britain at present pays 321 s 6d pjer cwt The official spokesman said the negotiations with Russia for the delivery of 15,000 tons of butter had been broken of because of the disagreement over prices.
