NORTHLAND HAY TO BE SENT TO SOUTH

(P.A.) WHANGAREI, Aug. 3. Members of the Federated Farmers throughout Northland are being given an opportunity to help less fortunate fellow members in the southern part of the North Island where, owing to drought conditions during the summer and autumn, hay is needed in considerable quantities. The full amount required Is not yet known, but orders have already been received for lots up to 100 tons. The price of hay will be £7 a ton on the rail.
