JEWS RUSH COMPLETION OF OIL PIPELINE
(10 a-m.) LONDON, June 16. The Jews are working feverishly during the truce to finish the oil pipeline from the coast to Jerusalem to ensure a fuel supply for the city, says the British United Press correspondent. The pipeline is one-third completed. A Shell Oil Company official said that the closing of the oil refineries at Haifa would not present an immediate problem to the Jewish State because supplies of petrol and fuel oil lrad been built up in the coastal areas.
