CZECHS’ FLIGHT IN SECRET TO BRITAIN

(11 a.m.) LONDON, June 16.

The Air Ministry announces that 21 Czech refugees, including women and children, have reached the R.A.F. airport at Manston, Kent, by a Czechoslovak Dakota which was down from an airfield in Czechoslovakia in darkness after secret refuelling and testing. The pilot was a Czech who served in the R.A.F. during the war.
