N. ZEALAND SURGEON’S SUCCESS

(P.A.) HASTINGS. June 16, Dr. John N. Barron, M. 8., Chß„ F.R.C.S., F.R.S.M., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Barron, Havelock North, lias been asked to take over the position of the chief of the plastic unit at Rooksdown House, Basingstoke, England, when the famous New Zealand plastic surgeon, Sir Harold Gillies, retires.

Command of this unit would place Dr. Barron among the foremost in plastic surgery, for the unit appears destined to be the largest of its kind in England, having provision for 160 beds.
