ARTICLES TAKEN FROM HOSPITAL RETURNED
(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 15. A parcel of crockery and cutlery well marked with the Taranaki Hospital Board’s brand was returned to the board in New Plymouth today by an anonymous person who said in an enclosed note that she had collected the articles ‘‘in the course of her travels.” The parcel was addressed to Mr. P. E. Stainton chairman of the board, and marked “Handle with Care” was left at the board’s offices this morning. It contained three knives, four forks, one spoon, three plates, two saucers and one cup. “I regret that these things have been taken from the hospital, but I am grateful that they have been returned,” said Mr- Stainton. “If it is a case of repentance we congratulate her. If it is a case of her working in our interests we appreciate it.”
