(N Z. P.A.—Rsuter— Copyrisht.)

(11 15 a.m.) LONDON, Juno 15. Sir Reginald Dorman-Smith, commenting on Mr. Thakin Nu s proRussian policy statements, said that the British Government had handed Burma

over to the anti-Fascist People’s Freedom League which stemmed from the Communist-controlled Burmese resistance movement. The League was then strengthened, he said, byt the tender treatment it got first from Lord Mountbatten’s military administration and later from the British Government which accepted, at face value, the election victory which the League's strong-arm methods ensured.
