ALL BLACKS’ ITINERARIES IN S. AFRICA

(P.A.) WELLINGTON. June 15. Two provisional itineraries, depending on the port at which the team arrives were received for the All Blacks’ tour from the South African Rugby Board at a meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Rugby Union. They are to receive further consideration at a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Union. The South African board stated that every effort had been made to avoid unduly hard matches early in the tour and to keep the team from higth alutudes till it became acclimatised. Four international matches were provided for, as agreed upon in 1939. The board stated that no definite information was available regarding transport to and from South Africa. In consequence the itineraries provided for Saturday and Wednesday games, leaving out reference to dates. Advice of its challenge for the Ranfurly Shield was received from the Wellington Union.
