QUAKE WRECKS ITALIAN TOWN; 1 DEAD; 4 INJURED

(10 a.m.) FLORENCE, June 13. Thousands fled to the countryside when a violent earthquake shook the Arezzo area, south-east of Florence. Nearly every house in San Sepolcro was damaged. Attempts to the people to return to their homes failed. One girl was killed when a slab of concrete fell from a church on to her. At least four people were seriously injured.
