F. J. JEUNE TOPS MINIATURE RIFLE SCORERS
The only scratch man this year, F. J. Jeune, was top-scorer off the rifle in the second round of the No. 1 trophy match shot off by members of the Gisborne Miniature Rifle Club on Saturday night.
No possibles were scored, Jeune's total being 98 with five central bull’s eyes, while W. J. Burton also returned 98 with four central bulls. In the B Grade G. Jeune followed the example set by his father by top-scor-ing with 97 and five bulls. Miss R. Sutcliffe topped the women's list with 97 and four bulls.
