WAIROA VET. SERVICE
"Wairoa is thoroughly established, both as regards membership and veterinary service, and deserves to be con gratulated on its excellent organise lion,"’ states the annual report of the president, Mr. Lawson Field, of the Gisborne Veterinary Club. The report will be presented to the annual meeting of the club this week. “We would like, however, to see a similar enthusiasm displayed in the East Coast area by way of increased membership. It is interesting to note that the dairy farmers working through the Wairoa and Nuhaka factories have joined the club en bloc—their subscriptions being financed through the respective dairy companies. It is hoped that suppliers of other factories in the club's area will follow this excellent lead. As the ultimate aim of the club is to raise the standard health throughout the district, its operation is worthy of the utmost support from the farming community, and we trust that this will be continuously forthcoming.”
