(P.A.) AUCKLAND. June 1 !. The Auckland Racing Club’s winter meeting was concluded at Ellerslie on Saturday in fine weather. The going was slightly holding, although much faster than on the earlier days, tun ing dried as a result of fine weather dining the week. The totalisaior handled £233.227, as against £224,821 10s on the third day last year, making a record total of £767.673 10s for the meeting, compared with C 724.423 last year, an increase of £43,247 10s.
