PARALYSIS CASE IN AUCKLAND

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, June 8.

Another positive case of infantile paralysis in Auckland was reported yesterday. The patient is a girl aged 14 years from Ponsonby who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital as a suspect on June 1.

A hoy aged 4 years who was admitted from Pune, near Pukckohe, as a suspect on Friday has been declared a negative case. There were 49 positive cases and one suspect in hospital yesterday. Thirtyeight of the positive cases arc convalescent. PATIENT FROM FOXTON (P.A.) PALMERSTON N„ June 8. A girl aged 14 years has been admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital as a polio patient from Foxton, where primary and secondary schools have been closed.
