MORE FOOD FOR MORE COAL FROM RUHR

(11 a.m.) LONDON, June 6. The Allied and German authorities in the British and American zones have made fresh appeals for increased coal production and offered bigger incentives.

As a result of the recent disappointing output from the Ruhr mines, the average daily production, which has exceeded 300,000 tons, is now only 265,000 tons. Every miner during June will receive 75 ounces of fats compared with the normal consumers’ ration of 16 ounces.
