GREECE TO DISCUSS PEACE WITH ALBANIA
LONDON, June 4. It is learned from Greek sources in London that Greece has told the United Nations’ Balkans Commission that she is prepared to negotiate a peace treaty with Albania with whom she is still formally at war. Diplomatic observers in London consider that the chances of the Greek move assisting in the general pacification of the Balkans will depend, however, on a solution of the Greek guerrilla problem. In this connection the peace feeler put out by the guerrilla radio on Tuesday may be the latest phase in the wider Moscow-inspired peace offensive.
