HOLIDAY HOCKEY

ALL-DAY TOURNEY GISBORNE PROGRAMME With three games starting every 20 minutes except during the luncheon interval, a fast moving programme has been arranged for the King’s Birthday holiday tournament being conducted on the Childers Road Reserve by the P.B. Hockey Association on Monday. Play is to commence at 10.20 a.m. and the final game is scheduled for 3.20 p.m. Mr. A. Taylor is the tournament manager. Other officials appointed are: Points steward, Mrs. Sangwell; timekeeper, Mr. Harvey; umpire steward, Mr. K. Te Hau: assistant officials, Messrs. J. P. Cassin and Mr. G. Judge; protest committee. Messrs. K. Te Hau, G. Langhorne and J. McKenzie. Entry fees of 6d and Is are payable by women and men players respectively. The draw follows. First Round, 10.20.—Caledonia (A) v.
