MEMBERSHIP DECLINE
BRITISH LABOUR PARTY (11 a.m.) LONDON, April 28. The Labour Party executive’s report for the party’s annual conference at Scarborough from May 17 to 21 says the party’s individual membership, which reached the highest level of 645,345 in 1946, declined in 1947 to 608,487.
