TRUCE IN PALESTINE NO ARAB OFFENSIVE YET (11 n-m.) WASHINGTON, April 28. The Secretary of State, Mr. George Marshall, said he still hoped that fullscale hostilities would not break out in Palestine and that a Jewish-Arab truce could be arranged. He added that the Arab League spokesman had assured the United States that Arab forces were not now invading Palestine although the assurances only applied to the immediate situation.
