ALL BLACKS’ COACH
(P.A.) DUNEDIN, April. 20. Mr. V G. Cavanagh, jun., has been nominated by the management committee of the Otago Rugby Union as the coach of the New Zealand team to tour South Africa next year. He has also been nominated as a South Island and New Zealand selector. Mr. Cavanagh has been coach of the Otago team as well as selector since 194(1 and is one of the outstanding Rugby personalities in Dunedin. He was also formerly a leading cricketer and captain of the Otago side on many occasions.
