CZECH DIPLOMAT

NEW POST IN CANADA DEBARRED FROM AMERICA (10 a.m.) OTTAWA, April 14. The Czechoslovakian Government has appointed as its consul in Montreal a diplomat whose withdrawal from Washington was requested by the United States, and it has asked the External Affairs Department to recognise the appointment. The diplomat, M. Evzon Syrokotka, has arrived in Montreal, and the External Affairs Department is studying his appointment. M. Syrokotka was an attache in Washington.
