PARIS COMMUNIST PAPER

ATTACK ON GOVERNMENT (11 a.m.) PARIS, April 14. The French Cabinet authorised the prosecution of the Paris Communist newspaper Le Soir and the seizure of its editions today on the grounds that it had attacked the Government’s credit by publishing an article suggesting that the Government intended to call in all 1000 franc notes.
