TE KARAKA RUGBY
RURU CUP MATCH VISIT BY HAUITI (Hei aid Correspondent.) The opening match of the Rugby season in Te Karaka will take place on Saturday, when representatives of the Hauiti Club, Tolaga Bay, will play Te Karaka for the Jim Ruru Memorial Cup. Keen interest is being taken in the fixture and arrangements are well in hand for entertaining the visiting team. Players selected to represent ie Karaka are: Fullback, T. Scholium; three-quarters, A. Bayly, F. Kinnaircl, J. Rutene; five-eighths, J. Ruru, C. Brown: half-back. N. Ruru: forwards, W. Walters, H. Trafford, L. Kimber. N. Haronga, P. Clayden, H- Kirkpatrick, W. Kingi, Harris. Reserves: Backs. RRuru, S. Symon; forwards, D. Sara, players are to assemble on the ground at 1.45 p.m.
